Mary Stout '24 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing basketball ever since kindergarten. I have three older siblings and I remember following them around to their games until I was able to compete myself. I fell in love with basketball as I love to run, play on a team, and be challenged. I feel that one of my biggest assets is the teachability I bring to my game. I grew up always asking my coaches what I can do better, and now I seek to spend quality time with my coach to discuss and watch videos of my game during my private training sessions I have with my coach. I also strive to keep my body strong through weight and agility training. I have been raised in a Christian family and my faith and integrity are very important to me so it is my desire to continue to learn and be taught through a Biblical worldview.  I would like to play on a D1 team , pursue a medical degree, and continue to use my basketball talents, and my many testimonies of perseverance and mental toughness as a platform for rising athletes that have the same aspirations.
