As a student athlete, my primary focus centered on excelling in college-level basketball. The love I have for the sport drives my desire for improvement, as though I recognize that there is always room for growth. What sets me apart from my peers is my resilience as a military child, having experienced frequent relocation every two to three years and attending eight different schools. This background has equipped me with the skills of adaptation and overcoming challenges. While basketball is my passion, education still holds a high priority in my life. I am committed to be the best both on and off the court. Throughout my high school journey, my leadership skills have shown in my two years as the team captain. Whether it is during games, on the sidelines or in practice, my primary objective is to inspire and contribute to the success of our program. I lead by example, pushing my teammates to reach their full potential, offering support during their lows, and determination to succeed. The thrill of competition to hustle up and down the court. A key strength of mine is my coachability; implement corrections and strive for continuous improvement. Additionally, my defense and my hustle is a key factor when playing, because regardless of the height difference, I can measure up to any player. Basketball has been part of my identity throughout high school, shaping me into the person I am today. I am enthusiastic about the opportunity to elevate my athletic career to the next level.
