My full name is Skyley Ramsey, but as most players come to learn short names are easier on the court, so most of my team-mates call me Sky. I grew up watching my older sisters qualify for 2A State Basketball and playing for a pee-wee league for my local community center. After seeing my sisters compete at such a high level a dream sparked and I strive to make it to the state championship and to continue basketball beyond high school. My love for basketball is rooted deep, which helped me become a strong leader on my team since freshman year of high school. My close knit family has supports me through all of my passions and eventually I hope to nurture young athletes, like my nephews, to create not only better athletes but better people. My family has taught me that family is important, from this knowledge I know that building a team that feels like family is more successful than a team that doesn't. Academically, I am proud of my accomplishment and more than half of my class this year will be with Red Rocks Community College.
