Jacie Bunck '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Jacie Bunck and I attend Liberty High School in Colorado Springs, Colorado.  I am a junior graduating in the class of 2024, and this is my third year starting varsity. I recently scored my 872nd career point, on my way to the thousandth point club senior year! This year I was able to make 1st team in my league, as well as CHSAA Honorable Mention for Colorado 6A. During my sophomore year I was honored to receive the title of ‘Peak Performer of the Year’ which is only given to one player in the city, by The Gazette- our local newspaper.  I have been playing basketball since I was 5 years old and ever since then, it has become my passion.  I have a strong desire to play college basketball and I hope to find a program where I can make a difference and contribute to the teams success.  I am a leader among my peers on and off the court; I have a 3.45 GPA and I am aware of the fact that academics always come before basketball.  Some qualities I bring to the court are my coach-ability, my basketball IQ, my court awareness, and my ball handling skills being 5'11 and a shooting guard. I'm very competitive and with hard work and determination I believe I can accomplish great things. I cant' wait to see what the future has in store for me!
