Gabriela Caballero '21 Recruiting Profile

As a high school athlete, I'm a very dedicated and hard working athlete that wants to play D1 or D2 basketball. I continually push myself for when the opportunities come so I can succeed at my goal of playing college basketball. I'm very passionate about this sport. I would be a great fit for any team that is interested in me playing for their school because I can fit in at any position they will need me to play. At most times I am a clutch player when games come down to the wire. My best traits overall are court vision, ball handling, and passing ability. I also have a scorers mentality and the determination to finish plays when needed to. Not many players at my age right now have the IQ a great player like me needs. And I am still working on my vocal skills so I can become a great leader. Every day I look over game films of myself and the top point guards in the country and even the WNBA to see what else I can improve on to become one of the best at this sport. I am a great leader and will be able to fit into any program that is looking for a player like me. I have played for one club team named Vail Valley Eagles but I am now looking to expand my knowledge and play for Premier EYBL. Academic wise I am not the smartest person that you will find but I still work hard for the grades I get and push myself by taking AP classes.
