Peyton Savolt '24 Recruiting Profile

My entire life I have worked to realize my dream of playing at the next level. I am very competitive and love competition, this helps me improve as an athlete. In the classroom I am very hardworking student, I plan on finding a program that brings me to the next level as a student and athlete. Starting my sophomore year when my sister was a senior was a huge help to my success. My sister was my role model and I wanted to be like her. She taught me all the leadership goals I need to be a great teammate. My sophomore year I was very successful. I had many high scoring games and we had many good wins. The team that year was more a family to me than just a team. They showed me never to be scared to shoot or mess up. I was super moved by the leaders on the team that year and I knew when they left it was my time to step up. Since my junior year I have been a great leader. I work to make others better and its not just about me. My coach trusts me alot and I take that as a huge role. I know when the team needs me I will always be there. I am a very competitive basketball player and that makes me want to make others better so we can succeed. Growing up basketball was always in my blood. My mom went to college to play basketball and she led her high school team to many championship games and she broke records. I always knew when I grew up I wanted to be like her. I now have passed her in many stats and it makes me push harder and harder each day to get better. 

I have been on varsity since my sophomore year at Valley High School. I have been a starter on varsity since my sophomore year and now a captain my senior year. I love the game of basketball and it truly brings me to be the best leader I can be on the team.
