Kelly Gardner '22 Recruiting Profile

    Hello! My name is Kelly Gardner. I am currently a sophomore attending  Yuma High School in Yuma, CO. Ever since I was old enough to join a basketball team, I have played. Growing up I would always play as a guard, or a point guard. I have always played with full passion for not just myself, but for my team as well. Sportsmanship, responsibility, and commitment is the key to playing sports. I feel like my highlight so far in my basketball career would have to be getting the opportunity to play varsity as a sophomore part time. It has given me the drive, and the experience to push myself harder for the rest of my  high school years. 

    I am looking forward to finding a college that fits me the best not only with basketball, but also to continue my career into criminal justice, that I have always dreamed of doing.  I believe I have what it takes academically and athletically to be a team leader at your college. I am self motivated and hard working. I take sportsmanship and teamwork very seriously. I am excited to take on the next chapter of my life.
