One of my greatest goals as a basketball player is to always strive to do my best as a player on the court and also to be a good teammate on and off the court. I continually want to grow as a basketball player, and this will help me grow as a person. Being a good teammate and citizen of my school's community will teach me invaluable skills and content which will set me up for a successful career in and field. What makes me a good candidate for your team is the fact that I will always give maximum effort which will be contagious to my teammates. I am willing and ready to contribute to the team in any capacity, and will conform to the coaching staff and their methods of coaching. I will become close with my teammates and positively motivate them to always work harder. I am always open to criticism and use it as a means to become a better player. I participate in in-season and off-season events including fundraisers, weightlifting, training, volunteering and other community events. What makes me different from other players is that I will invest in all aspects of the program. I am always willing to put the team ahead of myself. I have a great moral character with no disciplinary issues and or other extracurricular activities. My life consists of family, academics and my basketball family. I maintain at least a 3.7 GPA and always strive for higher, being raised in a family with a high emphasis on learning. I take challenging classes to not only learn but to constantly improve my knowledge. Lastly, I never settle for average, I always strive for excellence both in academics and athletics.
