During the 9 years of my basketball career it has always been a dream of mine to pursue my abilities at the collegiate level. The teams I have competed with since beginning my basketball journey have all shown me the values of teamwork, commitment, and resilience while also giving me the chance to play a sport that I love. I am looking for a program that not only fits me athletically but will also allow me to thrive academically. Academics are something that I value very highly as I consider knowledge to be the most powerful thing one can possess. I believe that I not only have the talent and ability to play for a college team, but I also have the determination, work-ethic, and energy that will make an impact on your program.
As a Sophomore, I completed an exchange year in the United States and was able to compete for the school’s girls’ basketball team at the Varsity level. We came runners up in our NESPAC Class A championship and although this was a tough loss, it was also a highlight of my high school career. It allowed me to reevaluate my goals as a player and helped me realize that I need to push myself to become a solid, hardworking guard, with the capability to play at the college level.
