While growing up I was around and participating in a lot of basketball through my older sister Emily Carlson that is 8 years older than me. So even as a child I started manifesting about my basketball goals and dreams and I knew I was going to make it a reality.
Since I started basketball at a very early age in my life, I’ve realized that I am very people oriented. I’ve always thought that I was kind of anti social and quiet, but while going to basketball tournaments practices and even tryouts, I realized that I am actually very good at accumulating to people, and I enjoy connecting with others and having fun while being productive.
To get to where I am today I mainly just had to persevere. As a kid I was growing up in a small suburban town where I was bullied a lot by classmates and even teammates by the way I would play basketball and even just looked. But I never let that stop me, no matter how hurt or unwanted I felt I always got up and proved myself and gave myself more reasons to get stronger. Wich is why I am here today.
On the basketball court I specialize in defense. Wich some people may be surprised about because of my height and appearance, but I am actually way stronger then I look and fast. And that makes me unique and lethal on both the offensive and defensive side.
