Natalie Hodak '21 Recruiting Profile

Playing basketball at the collegiate level has been a goal of mine since I started playing in 4th grade. Since then, I've dedicated a lot of my time to becoming the best student, athlete, and person I could possibly be and I'm proud of the person I am now because of that. As a captain of my team, I have experience in leading a group of players towards a common goal and have obtained a growth mindset, which allows me to use my previous failures as a motivation and knowledge in order to eventually reach a goal. Attending a competitive school such as Taft, both academically and athletically, I've grown as an individual and realised that the only way to truly grow into the best version of yourself is by surrounding yourself with people who will constantly push you to your limits and will never let you give anything but your maximum effort. I believe that with this experience under me, I'm ready study and play at a school that will continue to offer me the same level of healthy competitiveness.
