Alexis Staton '22 Recruiting Profile

Hello,

        My name is Alexis Staton, I am a (14yr old) young lady that loves to play basketball and on a scale of 1-10 my level would be a 12!!! I aspire to play Womens College Basketball along with getting my degree.

        I currently attend Superior Collegiate Academy located in Clearwater Fl. We all need help or has gotten help at one point and time in life, and basketball is a team sport where, one person can not do it alone.

         I started doing competitive cheer at 6 yrs of age up until 10 yrs of age. So that hard work in practice and dedication to the team I am familiar with because on the cheer squad I was a base because of my length and height as I was growing up!

          Why am I a candidate for your organization? Apart from my hard work ethic on and off the court, apart from considering myself a total team player, because it takes a team to win. Above all is my passion for the game and my passion for learning the game, because I've learned that with each game I play there is always something to learn.  You will learn something about yourself, your team and your opponent each game!

         Academics are important to me also because Life never stops teaching, and the schooling and academics that I will receive from college, will help me attack the futures' occupations and oppositions. I want to learn all that I can to be Better on the Basketball Court, and Off the court!
