I have been playing since I am 8 years old in Ponce, Puerto Rico. Since then I want to play basketball in college and see where it can get me. I was in a club team in Puerto Rico, where we went to the finals a couple of times. Since I started playing basketball, I can play any position you need me to, but I mostly play as Small Forward, Shooting Guard, or Point Guard. I was 13 years old when I went to Pennsylvania with the Puerto Rico Female Basketball Federation to the Blue Chip Tournament, where we represented Puerto Rico and showed how we played to some college coaches that went there. Now i'm on high school where I played my freshman year on the Varsity and Freshman team. I was a starter on the Freshman team and then I became a starter on the Varsity team. I would say that I got that starting position because I will fight until the end of a game so the team can win. Not only that, but I go to every practice, practice/play hard, I will communicate with the coaches or teammates if needed, and I love playing defense, since I feel that not only offense makes a player. My sophomore year I played as a starter in Varsity. This year I played at a new school where I played as a sixth-man and was a great asset coming off the bench. Student-athletes are expected to have good grades, GPA, that means putting school first. I finished my freshman year with a 3.9 GPA, my sophomore year with a 3.8 GPA, and this year i’ve had a GPA of 4.0.
