Ever since i was a little girl Basketball was the only thing that defined me, and i grew up and basketball was the only thing I've cared about other than school. I know that play in college is a once in a lifetime oppertunity and thats why i believe in chasing my dreams to continue my basketball career, and i know that playing in college would just be an accomplishment of my goals but a huge life changer that would change my world completely.
To me basketball is not just a sport. Basketball is the only thing where when i am stressed or just need to escape the world for a moment its the thing that will calm me down and will remind me what everything is worth fighting for. Its all more than a sport to me it's a life style that will always be apart of me.
I play power forward and small forward. I have strong ball handling skills, strong physical defense, mental toughness, and high basketball IQ. I try to lead an example and also encourage my teammates to not just try their best but exceed expectations. My coach called me not only tough but hard working. I strive to be one of the hardest working players and one of the hardest working recruits you’ll find.
I work hard year round on my basketball skills, Participating in my churches league where we compete with other churches at a big tournament. On my churches team I've played starter for about 4 years now. And lifting in the weight room, which all contributes to my athleticism.
In the classroom I study hard and try to do the best i can. I participate in FCA witch is fellowship in christian athletes. HOSA which is a medical club only medical students in the medical program may join. I also volunteer at a pharmacy and at my church for a bible study that teaches young kids, saint Verena church.
I want to attend college wherever i can push myself in the classroom and on the basketball court. I am open to all my options and want to ultamitaly find the perfect college for me. I hope to become a great role model to all my peers, in my community and make not only my coach and my school proud but myself and my family. I would love to make by dream come true and continue my career as a basketball player!
