My name is Amarie Crowell, I am apart of the 2022 Graduating Class. Since I was a young child I have always loved the game of basketball, the fundamentals of basketball like , coordination , foot work, and ball movement really fascinated me! Through the game of basketball I have learned to tackle relatable situations that we all may face in life.
I strongly believe that I would be a great fit for your team because I strive to be determined and a leader on and off the court. In addition I have the capacity to adapt to all situations and environments. I have used my challenges as motivation. In the course of my high school years I have torn my ACL and Meniscus not once, but twice! However I did not let my circumstances stop be from being a leader. These obstacles taught me what it means to be a leader and a teammate even if it was from the sideline. I strived to show my teammates that nothing can stop you from reaching your goals through actions and encouraging words.
Outside of school I am a volunteer at an Animal Hospital as well as coaching a girls team at the YMCA. I am always looking for ways to be a positive example in my community and for future generations to come.
