I have been playing basketball for four years now. I started playing basketball when I was in the fifth grade with the YMCA, and continued the next year playing with the city of Tallahassee which was more competitive. Ever since it feels like basketball is an important organ in my body and I can't survive without it. Then my city league coaches started an AAU team, the Big Bend Ballerz. We became immensely successful with our coach, Danielle Vaughn. With this team I am able to experience higher levels of competition and improve my basketball IQ. Once I get into the game I always bring energy with me, no matter what quarter it is or if we are winning or loosing. My teammates describe me as helpful and encouraging. I'm always the first to tell them to keep their heads up during the game. My collegiate ambition is to get accepted into an amazing academic and athletic college and be successful. I would love to meet new people and I'm looking forward in taking my game to the next level. Academically I strive to do the best of my ability and focus on being respectful and studious.
