When I first picked up a basketball I fell in love! I knew what I wanted to do at the middle school, high school, and collegiate levels. I am a tri-athlete (Basketball, Volleyball, and Track); however, my favorite sport is basketball! I am a great leader on and off the court. I play multiple positions so I must learn all the plays. My primary position is a shooting guard (SG) and secondly point guard (PG), I drive in the paint, and I can dribble with my right and left hand, this makes me a good candidate for a team. I am also great at reading the offense to be able to steal the ball when thrown to the opposing team or when it is dribbled in front of me. I am a good defensive player too. As a freshman, I played varsity and today I play all around. I attend a college prep magnet school where academics is very important to my school and to me. I am a scholar-athlete. Being at a rigorous school I have to be strategic with my time management. I have to balance my studying time with practicing time with my teammates and also practicing on my own. This also makes for a good candidate for a team. My hope and dream are to one day play in the WNBA.
