Hello, my name is Jada Porter and attached are my collegiate goals and aspirations. Since I've been a young girl, I've aspired to go to college and obtain a degree in law. I've liked the idea of being a lawyer since I first understood the duties of a lawyer and also what they represent. When I started playing basketball, I aspired to be the best basketball player on the planet and because of this aspiration, I knew I had to play college basketball. I never really had a certain college that I wanted to attend; however, my first option has always been a Division l college being that it's the highest level of women's collegiate basketball next to the WNBA and the Semi professional league. When I first realized that I enjoyed basketball I vowed to take my game very serious and become one of the most accomplished athlete's in my area. My plan was to obtain the top accolades and accomplishments and since that time I've become quite accomplished. I've obtained a variety of awards to include the six man award my freshman year and I was also the third leading scorer on my team. My Sophmore year, I was the named the team MVP, Most offensive, First Team All Region and I also received the Scholar athlete award. My Junior year, I transitioned to a 6AAAAAA school which was very challenging; however, I was still able to obtain First Team All Region honors and Second Team All County honors. I make sure that I go just as hard in the class room as I go on the basketball court. I currently have a 3.7 GPA, I'm a member of the National Honor Society as well as the BETA club and I'm a member of my school's student council.
