Tyauna Ellison '12 Recruiting Profile

Hi, My name is Tyauna LaTrice Ellison. I am a 5'9" 134lb junior at Arabia Mountain High School. I am relatively fast for my size, and I am most credible as a center, and a small foward. My dominant hand is my right, though I am efficient with my left as well. My most important accomplishment would have to be being apart of thte 2008-2009 Lady Raiders basketball team. We went through the season UNDEFEATED with a 27-0 record, region champions, and 3A State champions. I recieved a state championship ring my freshman year of high school. After transfering to Arabia Mountain high school, I became the speaking captain for the Lady Rams varsity basketball team, and I hold that position today. I was chosen to be "Miss Basketball" for the 2010-2011 school year (in fact the FIRST miss basketball at AMHD) MVP, and best all around for my sophmore and junior years. I was also names player of the month for the months of January and December two years in a row, as well as all tournament player for the holiday tournaments, and the region playoff games. I would live to go to school anywhere in the United States, preferrably Georgia, florida, tennessee, alabama, and mississippi. I am looking for a medium sized schools, with resonable student:teacher ratios, with a medium academic level.My hopes of going to college is focused on me obtaining a scholarship, hopfully an athletic scholarship so that I can play on the college level. I;m not very picking on who gives me a scholarship to play for their team, I'm just looking for someone who will give me that chance to contribute my skills and hard work. My desired major is nursing and/or physical therapy. My athletic goals include obtaining an athletic scholarship to any school that is willing, and to play as a freshman on the campus' varsity team. I'm excited to play at the highest competition levelpossible, and to contribute to a successful team. I know that hard work surpasses skill and ability, which is why I look forward to working hard with any team that gives me that opportunity.
