The Dream 2014Personal Statement
I'm just a girl who wants to play. I want to play and I want to learn. I want to reach my full potential on and off the court. I'm a great candidate as I don't believe that one person can know every thing and there is always room for growth and improvement. I'm different in character because basketball is part of my fiber and I don't play just for show. I play because I love team mechanics, the game and both team and the game's dynamics. I am driven and work well independently and as a team academically.
My mom is a disabled veteran and she inspires me. I've seen the struggle of veterans and would like to become an architect to help redesign and restructure dilapidated housing for disabled veterans. I'd like to be able to continue basketball in college as it grounds me and continues to help me build stronger character and inner strength.
