Tiana Williams '21 Recruiting Profile

I have played basketball since I was eight years old. I started playing AAU basketball and continued until I graduated high school. I fell in love with the game as soon as I started. Basketball is like second nature to me. My passion for the game is strong. Although I have enjoyed playing other sports like softball and soccer, basketball is my first love. I have played the point guard/shooting guard position since middle school. I was a part of my state championship (2018 and 2019) high school varsity team all four years and became the captain my senior year. I am persistent and a hard worker. I do not mind being in the gym all day, if I could, to get better because I love the game. Some of my strengths are speed, good ball-handling skills, shooting, and a high basketball I.Q. I desire to play basketball at the collegiate level and challenge myself to reach my highest potential. I want to be a student in the classroom and a student of the sport.
