My name is Ella Grace Squires! I attend Brookwood School and play AAU basketball with the Tallahassee Storm team out of Tallahassee, Florida. I have been playing Brookwood basketball since the sixth grade and have been on varsity since the eighth grade. Playing college basketball has been my dream since I first started playing and I’m willing to work hard for it. I’m a strong rebounder and defensive player, especially when it comes to blocking shots. I’ve been working hard on my moves in the post since the eighth grade while also working on ball handling. I also have a strong jump shot from the free throw line.
As far as school is concerned, I’ve been on student government and Headmaster's list every year and hope to maintain at least a 3.8 GPA throughout high school. I’m ready and willing to work hard in the classroom as well as on the court to keep my grades at a high percentage. Along with basketball I also run track. I have enjoyed track since I was in the sixth grade and have been placing in events in the region and state levels since the eighth grade on varsity.
