Aloha, My name is Jazlyn Corpuz and I am from Lihue Hawaii. I have been playing basketball since I was five years old in the county league. I have been traveling with my basketball team since 5th grade. I want to continue to play college basketball while I earn my higher education.
I have strong ball handling skills, good work ethic, and a high basketball IQ. I am a team leader and try to lead by example while also encouraging my teammates to be their best. I am very coachable and strive to be one of the hardest working players you will find.
In the classroom, I study hard and maintain a 4.0 GPA. I volunteer and help mentor with local basketball teams. I am involved with Leo club, HOSA and the Japanese club in my High School and volunteer my time as much as I can.
I want to attend a college where I can push myself in the classroom as well as on the basketball court. I am open to all options and want to ultimately find the right college match at the highest level of competition possible. I hope to become a great role model to all my peers and my younger sister too.
I continue to train and work hard off season. I train, work out and continue to practice daily. I also try my best to eat a clean and have a healthy diet daily.
Thank you for your time and consideration! Jazlyn
