Sports have always been a huge part of my life. Every year since 6th grade I have always been involved more than one sports year around and most of the time it would be three sports including; softball, basketball, track, volleyball, and Judo. With every sport that I play, I give my whole heart to the practice and games. I started playing basketball in 6th grade. Basketball to me is something that teaches life skills and fundamentals that I use outside of school. I view myself as a leader and follower, I know how to take control and also sit back and give someone else a turn to lead. My Freshman year, I was the starting point guard for our high school varsity team and had 106 points for the season.
I am actively involved with 4-H and raise lambs and cattle and train horses. I also participate in youth groups and complete community service projects throughout the community. I was nominated to go to a week long leadership conference at big universities but unfortunately could not come up with the money to participate.
