Natalie Luthy '23 Recruiting Profile

I have loved basketball for as long as I can remember. I have been playing basketball for seven years, ever since I was able to in the 6th grade. My mom played for the German National Team when she was 16, and I have learned a true love for this sport from both my mother and father. My father has been my coach and taught me how to shoot since before I can remember. Everyone in my family has played basketball in their life at some point, and that is why it has such a special place in my heart. I have spent countless hours at my house shooting and spending all my spare time playing pick-up games and going one on one with my older brother. Ever since freshman year in high school, I have been a varsity starter and lettered for the sport. My junior year I got awarded First-Team All-Conference my junior year of high school and was a varsity captain this year, my senior year. There is no sport that I would rather pursue than basketball since it has been such an amazing experience throughout my entire life. Although I have been extremely busy trying to get my associate's degree before I graduate high school and being valedictorian in my class, I put all my efforts and spare time into basketball because I love it so much. I have played all the other sports at my high school that offers, including volleyball, cheer, track, and softball, and I also enjoy playing golf in the summer with my dad, but basketball has always been my favorite and the love of my life.
