Anna Burrus '20 Recruiting Profile

I want to play basketball at a college that will prepare me for my future career.   I want to find a college that I will fit in and become like family. I am still unsure of my future career goals.  I enjoy math and agriculture so I will purse something in one of those two areas.  I love basketball and I want to find a school that will push me to do my best but not make it seem like a "job."   I am a hard worker and put everything I have into doing my best; whether it is academics or sports.  I do not like to fail and will work hard until I get something right.  I am easy to coach and listen.  I get along well with others and support my teammates.  When we can work together as a team, that is when we find success.  

I am excellent at getting rebounds; plain and simple.   I average well over 300 rebounds per year on my HS team.   Most of my points come from under the basket so I'm going to focus my next two years  to working on my outside shot.   I work hard in the off-season.  My philosophy is "better myself...better my team."   

Academically, I am a straight A student.  Most of my grades are at 100% or above.  I also do every extra assignment because it's the little things that make a difference.  I'm involved in student council, Big Brother/Big Sisters, FFA and sports all year around.  I'm organized and responsible.

Bottom line is that I want to play basketball and find a college that fits to my goals.  I work hard and will give 100%, 100% of the time!
