Vince Lombardi once said, "Winning isn't everything, but wanting to win is." This comes to mind every time I step out onto the basketball court. My varsity team is young and has had its share of struggles this season, but with each game I play, I become a better and stronger player. It is through these struggles that I understand the importance of commitment, teamwork, and of never giving up. I have the drive and passion, and this motivates me to be a positive leader for my team. It is my hard work and dedication on and off the court that pushes me to the next level in my career as a student-athlete.
I look forward to the opportunity of becoming a member of a program which will benefit me both academically and athletically.
