Olivia Allen '21 Recruiting Profile

Hello! My name is Olivia Allen. I am a 5'8 shooting guard from Peoria, IL who possesses skills as a small forward as well.  I have been a competitive athlete since the age of 4, starting at that time in competitive cheer-leading. This allowed me to develop respect for team mates and coaches, punctuality, dedication and a love for competition. Even though I've tested a few different sports, playing club volleyball for many years, my true love and passion has been basketball since the first time I was able to play and have made the decision that this is to be my sole focus. 

I am extremely coachable and strive to be the hardest working basketball player on the court. I arrive early, stay late and work hard to improve myself throughout the year.  I'm always ready to learn and to grow and wish to be part of a program with the same ideals as me.  I pride myself on my basketball IQ, ability to find the open team mate, and my consistent shot. (In our latest free throw competition I was 90/100)

I am an honest, hard working team player who excels on the court and am proud of my accomplishments in the classroom. I am looking for a program that will allow me to continue to grow as an individual as well as an athlete and that I can contribute to in the  most positive way possible.
