Playing two varsity sports as a freshman was something I aspired to do ever since I began playing. Achieving that goal of mine is something I will always be proud of, but I know my journey as an athlete is far from over and I have other goals to work for each and every day. Growing up my dad was my coach and he taught me far beyond physical skills. I struggled with confidence in my game for a while which was overcome with his support and hours in the gym every day. He also taught me how to work hard and be a leader, which are some of my strongest suits when it comes to basketball. I take pride in my hard work on the defensive end of the floor and display my leadership through communication and motivating my team.
Academics are highly important to me, and I’m looking for a school that can provide not only a great athletic experience, but also a great education. I’m confident I have what it takes to play at the next level and promise to give my team everything I have including my abstract leadership skills. I know I will bring a positive impact to your team!
