Brooke Heiman '21 Recruiting Profile

My name is Brooke Heiman, I come from a small farming town Paw Paw, IL. I started competive tumbling in 2nd grade, and in 3rd grade started playing AAU basketball.  I continued to do both sports until 7th grade when I left tumbling and dedicated my time to playing AAU.  I have played with the Midwest Wildcats out of Rockford IL since the 3rd grade. 

In High School I have been playing Varsity since my Freshman year. Over the course of my High School year, I have had to learn how to adjust and play with older girls and younger girls, our current team is mainly Freshman, and the coach looks to me to coach and lead the team.

I love the game of basketball and love to play a fast pace game. My strengths are knowing how to read the court and find the open opportunity. I feel I am a selfless player, I love the win, but also know winning is a team effort. I look forward to playing college basketball, meeting new friends and playing at a higher level. 

My collegiate goals are to play basketball and graduate with a nursing degree, and pursue my Nurse Practitioner. 

I am a coachable player and would love the opportunity to play for your school.
