I am a right-handed small forward. I love to always be playing basketball and just having a ball in my hands. I am class of 2024 and love my team and the girls and the support is given to me. I am a team leader. I want to step into the biggest role on the team and always want to be the one to guide. I am a leader in the classroom and on the court. I had been a post previously now transitioning more towards a guard so I have the footwork to work inside and be able to shoot. I also sometimes have a height and speed advantage!!
I am a player who likes to have fun, but still struggle with myself and getting in my head while playing. I am starting to see how when I play with confidence how good I can be. As a player you will never have to worry about my hustle, whether it be a loose ball or scrambling out to find someone, I always will be working to make sure the big plays don't happen. I always want to be on the court and when I am not on the court I am cheering for my team and making sure we celebrate the little things. Something I think is my biggest strength is being able to keep my composure and help my team keep it together. If there is a technical, you will see me getting my team huddled up and trying to just get everyone back to the same head space. I also learned that I am a leader on my team and when I get frustrated with the refs or myself my team starts to do the same thing, and that cannot happen, so staying positive is something that I have excelled at this year. I hope you learned more about me as a player!!
