Jerilyn Blackmon '21 Recruiting Profile

My goal is to be able to play the sport I love with a full ride and paid tuition in college. To be able to continue my education to graduate college. I want to be proud of my accomplishments when I complete my journey.  The hard work is to be put in both basketball and my academics, which will not be easy, but it will not be an opportunity I want to pass up and not experience. Each day is a day to learn something new and incorporate it within my skill level and personality.  Something I love about basketball is that it’s universal, doesn‘t have a language barrier. When I went to the Dominican Republic, I was able to play and interact with children with the game of basketball, which was a fantastic experience that I want to continue doing.
