The experiences and qualities that I've had and gathered have truly been life changing. I love basketball and it is my number one passion. It has taught me so much about myself. It pushes you to the limits physically and mentally which in return has made me a stronger individual. I love being part of a team, together we are achieving goals that are much bigger than just me. It's a major motivation as well as it inspires me to be a role model to youth in my community and school on and off the court. After recently coming off a season ending injury I'm more determined than ever to come back stronger. It has shown me the importance of playing every possession like it's your last. I dream of continuing my playing experience at the next level where I can continue to grow and better my game.
As I begin my senior year at Plymouth High school I would like to pursue my dream and that is to play basketball at the next level. I have played varsity my freshman, sophomore, and junior year. My sophomore and junior year I was recognized with the award for All Conference, and my junior year I was awarded for All State. Awards should not be something we reflect on to gain confidence, we make each other look good, you can not have my personal best without my teammates and coaches.
