First and foremost, I am looking for a school where I can pursue my goals of becoming something in the medical field, but I can't imagine life without a focus on the sport I have always played. I have loved basketball since I was four years old and have thought about playing at the collegiate level since I was in junior high. My goal on and off the court is to be a team player. I hope to raise the level of play for everyone on the court. With my focus on succeeding as a team, I will rebound, block, steal, score, or assist as the situation demands. I am just as happy blocking out for a teammate to rebound as I am to get the ball myself. As long as we end up with the ball, I am happy.
I strive very hard to do the tasks set out for me by my coaches no matter how big or small that task may be. I love a challenge and I will get done what is asked. I have worked very hard to become a versatile player. Throughout the years, I've been given the opportunity to play all positions, (from wing to post) which has given me an understanding of the game from all perspectives. From this experience, I feel as though I have become a stronger player. I am willing to play any position a team may need.
