Aubrie Haynes '25 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Aubrie Haynes! 

My main objective here is to pursue a college education while playing basketball at a collegiate level. I am deeply passionate about both basketball and academics, and I work diligently to maintain good grades as they are interconnected with my athletic pursuits. Growing up in a competitive environment, particularly with an older brother, has created a strong sense of competitiveness within me. Basketball has been a constant presence in my life, going all the back to the age of 4 when my dad and I would shoot hoops in grandmas basement every night. Because of my passion for the game, I cherish the opportunity to step onto the court and engage in the sport I absolutely love. 

One of my notable strengths, as others have pointed out, is my coachability and leadership qualities. I strive to lead my team both on and off the court, and I take great pride in being a role model for younger players, especially as an upperclassman. I consider myself a selfless player, always looking for opportunities to contribute to the team's success. However, I also embrace the chance to score when it presents itself, and I feel a sense of accomplishment from creating scoring opportunities. My transition offense skills are strong, and I possess excellent court vision.

Basketball has always held significant importance in my life, and I am excited about the prospect of taking my athletic career to the next level.
