Basketball has always been my safe space, where you’re always guaranteed that your work will pay off. It may take time but no matter what, you will always get out how much you put in. My goal is to get better everyday but not just skill wise. I want to grow personal relationships with my teammates and coaches. One day I won’t be able to preform the way I used too, but I want to still have those relationships and deep connections. I want to be able to look back and see all that basketball had taught me and the opportunities I was given. This is why I want to take my basketball journey to the next level, so I can tell little 3rd me that even 10 years later, I’m still doing what I love. I may not be the best player you have ever seen, and I defiantly don’t have the height factor, but there is something I have always promised myself and my coaches. That is, I will never let someone out work me, because the score is never even.
