VANESA OTERO '21 Recruiting Profile

Hi my name is Vanesa Otero, I am from Kansas City,Ks and I'm in love with playing basketball ! I have played club basketball year-round since fourth grade,  and my goal is to continue to play basketball throughout high school and in college as well. At 5'3" I may be small in size but Im big when it comes to hustle, I put in the time and work other players aren't willing to put in. As a point guard I'm very capable of leading my team and making smart decisions. When Im not in the gym Im found at my high school,Bishop Ward working hard on maintaining my 4.0 gpa. Im a very dedicated student who takes her education very seriously. Ive made principles honor roll every year since 6th grade and am apart of many extracurricular activities. Outside of school activities I love being involved in my community. . Not everyone is able to find a balance between family, school, and sports but I have managed to make the sacrifices needed to make sure I succeed in being a committed student athlete.
