Personal Statement

My name is Allison Wallace and I am in the class of 2022. My desire is to realize my dream of playing college basketball while pursuing my educational studies in the field of medicine.

I fell in love with the game of basketball the first time I picked up a ball. Everybody in my family  played basketball so it is something I grew up with.    This quote describes me so well...“Behind all the hours of practice and all the coaches who have pushed me to become a better player, there’s a girl that shot a ball, fell in love with the game, and never looked back.”

I am recognized as a versatile player who demonstrates high basketball IQ. I am adaptable to the needs of our team and enjoy playing multiple positions whether it be to defend the basket as the big or take over as point guard when needed. My commitment to personal training and playing AAU ball has also allowed me to develop into a strong forward and shooting guard. However, rebounding and blocking shots are the favorite parts of my game.

I am looking forward to an opportunity to play at the next level with teammates who are as passionate about the game as I am. I am confident my demonstrated work ethic, adaptability, and commitment to my teammates would be an asset to any program.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
