Hello my name is Cynthia Chine, growing up people always say I would never make it because of the bad decisions I've made, but don't we all learn from our mistakes? What really influenced me being the person I am today is being doubted too much, I want to prove everybody who doubted me wrong, I've became interested in Basketball when I was 12 years old, I saw boys play it and wonder if I could do the same. I am now 16, during the times I've played I learned that I have to take chances, I can't be scared of my opponent, always have faith (anything can happen in a game), always have an positive attitude , never give up and don't forget the plays. My academic goal is to understand math, to be able to get any math problem and solve it without struggling, My college goal is to get an high g.p.a and not let it drop. There was this one obstacle through out my middle school year, I was scared to score I would always get a steal and just pass it to the person that I know could score, I didn't want to make a mistake and be the reason why my team lose, but now freshmen year whenever I get the ball I'm always looking for a path to make an layup and people would be surprised because they would never imagine 5'1.5 skinny girl going straight to the basket with force. My favorite skill is defense , I love being a defender , I love getting the feeling that I can stop my opponent from dribbling the ball and getting an turnover. On the court I'm known for hustling, wherever the ball go I'm right there, I'm always looking for a steal, I'm always looking to make good passes so my team can get an easy basket.
