I have a passion for the game of basketball. I want to play basketball after my high school career. I have played a lot of sports in my life including soccer, gymnastics, swimming, cross country, volleyball, and track. However, basketball is my favorite. Playing many sports has taught me a lot in life. I am very dedicated to my academics and currently have a 3.6 GPA. I lived in Hawaii for nine years of my life so far. In 2019, my family and I relocated back to the mainland.
I think I know the game very well. I love to be an encourager and to have teammates that do the same. I believe I bring an offensive threat to the team as well as a leader on the defensive end. I believe my offensive strengths are outside shooting and court awareness. I am working on becoming more of a threat off the dribble by attacking the rim more. On the defensive end, I believe I bring energy and intensity through communication with my team and effort. My coaches and teammates have said I am very even-keeled emotionally on the court. I believe having control of your emotions during the game allows me to stay locked in and focused on my role on the court.
