Personal Statement
Basketball makes me feel more connected to my grandmother. She passed away a few years ago, but she loved playing basketball when she was younger. I wish I had talked to her more about it, but just playing it makes me feel like I communicate with her in that way. Not only did my grandmother love it, however, I also found compassion in playing. I strive to reach my best athletically and academically on and off the court. I'm an all around athletic kid, but playing basketball just feels more special. I hope to reach the interests of college coaches as much as I am interested in participating at the collegiate level.
