Personal Statement

From as a early as I can remember, I’ve been taught you always play to WIN.  I carry that mentality not only on the court but off it as well.    I think this is one of the main reason I have a 3.9 GPA & currently lead in steals, Rebounds, points, and assist.  If you want a quick defensive workhorse...I’m your girl.

Basketball is my #1 passion, but I am also a runner. I went to states my Freshman and Sophomore year.  I hold a MS school record in track.
I think running gives me an advantage to other bball players, because I am quick, and have long endurance,.  I know how to work as a team but also how to be individual responsible for my own goals and Achievements.

As early as a freshmen I lead my Varsity team (Linden HS ) with Points, steals, assists, and 2nd in rebounds.      I want to WIN and when I don’t I take it personally, and work even Harder to get better.

I unfortunately tore my ACL at the end of my Freshman year at Linden HS.   Covid pushed back my surgery date by 3 months.   I transferred schools to Flint Powers my sophomore year while recovering from my ACL surgery.   I started on Varsity and lead the team again in steals and Assists 2nd for points/rebounds.

My Junior year I was back at 💯 and was able to lead my HS team ( Flint Powers) with points. Steals, assist, and rebounds.  I have the most steals in the Saginaw Valley League for 2021/22.

My goal is to become a DR and help others struggling with sport related injuries.   I currently have a 3.9 GPA .   I’d like to play basketball for Four years while earning my degree in kinesiology or Biology.   The Four years of college Basketball, I think will help me be better prepared for Medical school.

Im a very hard worker ( hate talking about myself , lead by your example kinda of person) I would love the opportunity to continue this game called Basketball.
