My name is Claire van Ginhoven and I am a shooting guard for the Gladstone Girls High School Varsity Basketball Team and Level UP Express AAU. I would love to continue to play basketball at any level and earn a Bachelors Degree in Sports Sciences/Athletic Training. In addition to having excellent shooting skills, I take feedback and direction well from my coaches. I also love to volunteer my time into reffing basketball for younger kids and teaching them different ways of playing and loving the game. I have always put a high standard on my academics, while pursuing and excelling at my passion for basketball. Playing in college is my goal and I have a strong love for the game. I strive to be a leader on and off the basketball court by maintaining good grades and relationships with others. I am consistently seeking to improve my skills, even outside of team practice, by going to the gym everyday and either playing pick up games, getting into the weightroom, or practicing drills by myself. I have a good sense of humor with my friends, but on the court I have a competitive edge and push myself and my teammates to be the best we can be.
