It has been my goal to play college basketball since the moment I picked up a ball in second grade. I spend most of my free time at the gym, as it is a place I find a lot of comfort in. I enjoy playing other sports as well, that include track and volleyball. Sports have helped me come out of my shell and help to turn me into a great leader, whether that be in the classroom or on the court. I feel my presence and communication on the court helps to calm and bring up my teammates when they are feeling down.
Playing sports and maintaining a 4.0 GPA has helped me learn how to balance my time. My hard work on the court and in the classroom has taught me great work ethic that I take with me everywhere. My current preferred field of study is business, but I also find criminology and sports medicine interesting. As academics have always been important to me playing basketball at a higher level while getting a college education would be the dream. I have been striving to make that happen since I stepped foot onto the court.
