Since the first step on the court, my whole goal was to be a leader, to make something out of myself. I would say I am a leader, on the court and off the court. If that means looking up and telling everyone where to be on the court, or making sure everyone on the team has their school work done. For college I hope I can be an inspiration to not only people online or in person, but also my teammates. I want to help people grow as a person athletes. My goals in college is to make something for myself, and be a big aspect to whatever team I hopefully get to be apart of. Even if that school is D1 or D4. A big thing to me is academics I’ll always put academics first, I’m the student to sit alone to make sure all my work is done. I would rather have a future than have friends. I know that academics is a big need on and off the court. Every athlete should always put academics first and that’s what I intend to do. In college I plan to take academics very seriously as I do any other day. One thing my coach always told me was to make sure to know every position on the court, every position in every play. Even if I didn’t play that position. That has stuck with me. As a point guard and as a leader that is a big thing to know. My biggest goal is to make a future for myself.
