I fell in love with the game of basketball in the 3rd grade when the high school coach asked me to play on a 5th and 6th grade school league team. As I continued to grow and become a better basketball player, I was given the opportunity to play varsity my freshman year. Although I felt like I grew more as a player and a person in the year of my sophomore season. I was able to become more versatile by playing different positions that I normally wouldn't play, I wanted to be able to make my team be successful in any way that I could.
One of my favorite highlights from my sophomore season would be winning the Macomb Area Conference Tournament against a undefeated team that was in the league above us. That game I learned that I had to put and leave everything on the floor and play as hard as I could all the time to accomplish our goals. I plan to look for a program that will benefit me academically and will benefit from me athletically. I believe I not only have the talent to compete at the colligate level, but also have traits such as character, work ethic, leadership and sportsmanship skills to make an impact on your program.
