I started playing basketball when I was 6 years old, and currently play at Petoskey High, a class A, division 1 public school in Michigan. I grew up in a house that loves the sport, and have parents that support my athletic interests. My dad is in his 28th year of coaching basketball at the varsity level, so I’ve been exposed to basketball all my life. Playing college basketball became a goal of mine during my 7th grade travel season. That’s when I started to love the grind that comes with playing basketball; shooting drills, ball handling drills, weight lifting, conditioning and workouts.
The two things I like most about basketball are my teammates and the competition. I enjoy working through the process of setting goals, working to accomplish them, and the success that follows in the form of winning. The biggest assets that I will add to any team are: my positive attitude, speed and shooting ability. As for my academic goals, I want to attain a 3.8 GPA in high school, and graduate college with high honors.
I am excited to have the opportunity to play at the collegiate level, and I know I will make a positive impact on any team.
