Sarah Soraghan '21 Recruiting Profile

Hello  Coaches,

Playing basketball has been a love of mine, since I first picked up a ball in the second grade.  My enthusiasm for the game has continued to grow as I got older and learned more about the lessons that come with playing, how it's a privilege to play and to have constant support. 

I’m a strong communicator,  supportive player and teammate. I strive to be a better, smarter player on and off the court for my high school varsity team. I have a positive and respectful attitude towards my coaches,  teammates, parents and myself.  I love the role I have on my team and take it seriously, and I encourage my team to have fun and enjoy their roles.  I am very competitive and work hard to do my best at everything I do.  I’m a coachable player and like to challenge myself. I know that I can always improve my game and techniques and continue to learn more.  I’m proud of my abilities as a player and a student because of the amount of physical and mental work I put in.

I have high expectations with my schoolwork and try hard to keep a good GPA. I'm involved in school activities, such as National Honors Society, Mentor/ Men-tee program, and S.A.L.T. (Student, athlete, leadership, program) where I work hands on with other people to improve our community by doing service projects, and also encourage freshman to learn more about our school and help them new people. I look forward to continue my academic and basketball career at a college or university that will continue to challenge me as student and athlete!!

I’m currently undecided on what major I will be studying, however I am interested in psychology and dermatology and am willing to explore any option at this point for a competitive team and school.
