Annabell Phillips '22 Recruiting Profile

Hello,

My name is Annabell Phillips and I am a Junior at the Clearbrook-Gonvick High School in Clearbrook MN. I have wanted to play college basketball since I first started playing when I  was five years old.  I was an animal on the court at five and my passion and love for the game has grown ever since. I would be a fantastic recruit for your team because I give 110% effort every time. Hustle is my middle name. I am outstanding defensive player and I am leading my varsity team in steals. I have played as a point guard and shooting guard since I was 5 years old, and my shooting percentage is getting better and better. My coaches look to me to lead my team. I try and work my hardest to be the team leader that my team needs, I bring the energy when we are down  and I bring us back up and get us back together. I would have not had any of my successes without my coaches, teammates, and of course my family. I look up to my coaches and I love my team.  What makes me different from other candidates that I play from the heart and there is nothing that will ever stop my love for this game.  I am an outstanding student at my high school and have a great relationships with all my teachers. I plan to major in Nursing when I go to college. I have lived on a farm my entire life. Roping, barrel racing, ranching, and raising all kinds of animals is what I know and love. I have great respect for the work done by ranchers and I believe that is where my work ethic comes from. I want to play basketball for you. I will work hard for you and the team.
