I am coachable, and I can play a variety of positions with success. I see the court and have a good understanding of the game.
I enjoy helping my teammates when I can with basketball skills and knowledge, and I enjoy discussing plays and approaches with my coach when it's appropriate.
I value honesty and fairness, and I prefer that coaches be straightforward with me about what I need to do better and how I can contribute to the team.
I am not the loudest person on the team or on the court. I observe a lot and consider what I am going to say before I say it. My body language is easy to read...perhaps too easy at times, but I am not disrespectful to others when I am frustrated with myself which sometimes happens.
I know how to work hard for what I want whether it be grades or athletics. I am usually not the top student, but I have academic goals that keep me on track with my GPA and learning. I also try to keep a good balance between working hard and allowing myself to have fun because I know this makes me a better athlete and student.
